Quebra Pedra (Phyllanthus niruri) is a small annual plant found in the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas including India and the Caribbean. This plant is used in many parts of the world including in Ayurvedic practice in India. Quebra Pedra is its Portuguese name, and translates to ‘Stone Breaker’.     Usage:

    Tea Bags: Infuse1 teabag in freshly boiled water. Leave for a minimum of 5 minutes. Drink and enjoy

    Loose Tea: Put 3 heaped teaspoons (5g) of Quebra Pedra into a saucepan with 600ml (3 cups) of cold water. Bring to the boil, simmer for 10 minutes, strain and serve. Sugar or honey may be added as desired. Drink throughout the day. Quebra pedra can be consumed either hot or cold.
